He's a Well Respected man around town.

I think I would like Urban Outfitters more, if it wasn't so expensive. It's kind of a hipster store if you think about it.. You pay so much to look like you payed so little. YES, some of their stuff is SUPER cute! But I don't think I could bring myself to pay my money on that. I think I would even feel bad if my mom paid for it.

I guess maybe I could say the same about Modcloth. But I feel there is a difference between the two. Modcloth can be cheap-ER (than U.O.) There are shirts and skirts and dresses on Modcloth that would be wayyyy more expensive at Urban Outfitters. *sigh*. I think Modcloth is cuter, anyways.

I kind of really hate it when you're on your Mac, and there's a word it doesn't recognize and it puts the red squiggly line under it. I know, sometimes it can be REALLY helpful, but other time, I KNOW I spelled it wrong, or it's a title/name. when it's a title or name, that just makes me mad. It shouldn't have the squiggly line if the word's first letter is a capital. Well, actually that causes problems with the beginning of the sentence. I just wish it could read my mind. Just kidding. I hate technology. Let's build a time machine, go back to the 50s, destroy the time machine, and just live. We'll live through some of my favorite stages in Fashion. 50s and 60s. :'] I just think the 60s are silly!

Nobody knows you, and nobody give a damn.

I have a good idea for a blog... I just lied. My friend, Darmone, came up with this idea. I think? I'm not one to remember a lot of stuff that easily. Should I get on with the idea? I think so.

What if, someone would do a certain drug, then blog about how it made them feel. All the pros and cons of the drug. This would be an entire blog dedicated to that! Of course there would be precautions, only do the drug once, and not too much. They would have to be willing, but it would be understandable if they refused something like Heroin. Although it would be nice to hear about it.. Each new post would be about a different drug. I'm talking about even simple things like nutmeg and computer duster. Do you understand? I don't want to come across.. I don't know. I don't want to make a bad impression, but that blog could actually be good for people trying to convince them not to do drugs.

I would also like in each post, for what drug they did, FACTS about drugs. Now, if they're talking about weed, I don't want to hear/see "It gives you lung cancer. It's as bad for you as 20000000 cigarettes." BULLSHIDDYSHIT. I want real stuff. I mean, anything can give you lung cancer. You have to give all details of the facts. The person/people writing this blog should be unbiased, I don't want someone trying to make the drugs sound good, and I don't want someone giving only bad statements. Comprende?

My friend once told me I should write a book called 'Drugs, Drugs, Drugs Galore'.. I do know my stuff.

OK. I'm done.

I'd be lying if I said I knew what that beige stuff was.

"Buddy the Elf, what's your favorite color?"

I got home, and Elf was on. I don't think you know how happy I was. I'm pretty much jumping out of my seat with joy, can't you tell? I really AM, excited, though! I mentioned Elf in my post yesterday, not even knowing it was going to be on today! This was meant to happen. I'm being rewarded.

I was at the store, AGAIN, and this time, you should be very giddy about what I found.. Here it is;

I know it's backwards, but you get the point.

I'm pretty hyped on this. I know in fact they aren't the best cookies ever, but they're just.. Special. They're there all the time, and it's like childhood? I don't know how to explain it, but if you know what I mean, I'm glad. If you don't, then.. JUST GO MAKE YOUR OWN 'SPECIAL' COOKIES.

I've been thinking, and I definitely like Couture more than Ready To Wear. I would wear Couture so much more, ya know, if i wasn't so expensive. It's just so much more artsy, and complicated, and thought out. It would represent me more. It's also unique. RTW is just.. It's cool sometimes, depending on the designer. Lately I've been seeing some designer's couture and loving it, then going on their sites and their RTW was disappointing. I mean, if it's like Alexander Mcqueen, that RTW is actually kind of cool! I would still much rather own his couture, though. If you don't agree, atleast Lady Gaga does. [HARHAR, that was a joke]

I have ANOTHER friend blogging. I'm glad! Here is her blog. Read it, follow it, yada yada.

when did I become a ghost?

Emma Watson keeps appearing in my life. Today, I saw her on the cover of Marie Claire while I was standing in line at the grocery store to buy cookie dough and eggnog(I'll get into that later). Her hair is short! I was confused for a second, thinking to myself, "who is that?" But, it was Emma Watson! I think her hair cut is cute and boyish. It's a drastic change, and differs her look, but it was a good call.

Good night long hair, Good Morning short hair!

Speaking about fashion magazines; I'm so distraught about not having a subscription to Elle. I feel left out a little. Out of the loop. I should be getting it back soon, but not soon enough! and I'm a little too lazy to go out and pay $6 for one at the store. I'll just suffer a little longer.

Now, I will talk about this eggnog and cookie dough thing. For one; I've never had eggnog in my life before today. I had an unknown calling to get some eggnog and drink it. IT MUST BE THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT. Well, I drank some, and it is a LOT sweeter than I expected! I can't decide whether I liked it or not. But, that is usually how it goes for me.
Then, as I was looking for these type of cookies:
And you KNOW how for every single holiday there is, they have cookies for that holiday like this everywhere? Well, guess WHAT. I couldn't find them! I was confused and upset, as any innocent, wide-eyed child would be when they couldn't make cookies for Santa. Ok, so maybe the cookies weren't for Santa, but nonetheless, they were cookies I wanted to make! I still just can't understand..

I can't wait to watch Elf.

Pregnant with doubt.

I want these Doc Martens. I think MaryJanes are so cute, and these are a little clunky, but I like it.

Another pair I like are these floral ones. I never thought I would like Doc Martens as much as I like these.. I think the boots make people look hardcore. I, to be honest, am disappointed in people who buy shoes like these because they are in for a season or two. I'm not saying that I don't agree with people being 'in'. I LOVE talking about what's 'in', and of course, BEING 'in'. But something about people getting TOOO into what the books are saying makes me a little mad. Like, dude, put your own twist and style into it! People who dress nice aren't always dressing in their style.

The last thing I will say in this post; Heroin is bad. Don't do it.

I shamed my family,.. shamed my, home.

Well, GEE, I sure have not been on here in a long time! I haven't had much to talk about! The Fashion show wasn't on this week, America's Next Top Model is over,..

But! I did attempt to watch the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. I do not like Katy Perry. She is a terrible live singer, too. I didn't really pay attention because it kind of bored me. That's really all I have to say on the subject.

I feel bad for people on the other side of the globe.. Their Christmases are hot. Where's the fun in that? No where. I just can't find the fun.

I really love Modcloth, Lulu, and Tulle. I know if I had some money, that's where all my clothes would come from.

I just wanted to update this thing.. yah. I'll find something interesting tomorrow.

What's the matter with kids these days?

Last time on the fashion show; (I won't talk tooo tooo much about this.) I liked the idea of the inside of the body being inspiration. House of Emerald did a terrible job. I barely liked any of the outfits. They should not have had Tamara put that ugly Whatever in her dress. It was FINE the way it was. I'm glad House of Nami won. (It's hard for me to write 'Nami' because I have a friend named 'Naomi' and that's what I type every time, then I have to go back and change it!) I liked a lot of their dresses, except the uterus one. That guy is obnoxious, and his dress just made me say, "You're a weirdo! I don't like you and your ugly vagina dress!" I just thought it was awkward, and not even because he used a vagina as his inspiration. It's the reason why. He's a freak-o.

This episode; I'm glad Cesar and Calvin switched teams. It all seems more balanced, and happier. Oh my Gosh, Dita Von Teese is the guest judge. Why am I not surprised, for a challenge like this? I like her vintage style. She's so cute.

I can definitely see Secret Vampire Lady in her.

I thought Nami's collection was a little boring. And of course, as soon as I type that, Iman announces that they won the challenge. Meh, I thought Dominique's dress was the worst one. At least Eduardo won overall, it was cute, and I, too would wear it. Why would he nominate Calvin? I agree with Isaac. If you think about it, though, it was good strategizing on the team's part. The judges like Calvin, therefore, they will not eliminate him, so the other team will have the one designer eliminated. I don't think that thought is what popped in his mind, though.
I don't like Cesar's dress, it looks cheesy and wanna-be in the front. Tamara's outfit just didn't fit with the rest of the collection, in fact, the whole collection just didn't go together. It was all tied to one another with lace, and some of the lace just didn't belong in the spot it was in.

I HAVE CHANGED MY MIND.

I do not care for either collections. I don't like a lot of the outfits.. I've come to the conclusion that they should be given more than 24 hours to work on collections. What came out of it? Poopy! That's what! No more, Iman and Isaac. Don't play.

I also just want you to know, that I was writing this as I watched the show. So, I was half paying attention, and my mind constantly changed. I'm sorry.

I saw it twice.

Yes, I saw a UFO twice in two days, it was stereotypically big and round with shiny lights. Not really. I saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt. 1 twice. First, just let me get this over with, I don't like that pt. 2 comes out in July! It should come out in January, or February, but July is just too late! Now that that is out, I definitely was very satisfied with the movie. It was pretty close to the book, THE closest to the book, so far. There are a few things they've gotten wrong or just didn't show, but it doesn't bother me that much. It was well put together, and I cried. ohmygod, I cried. I don't know if that really says much since movies often make me cry, but honestly, I'm a little scared for pt. 2. It's going to be intense, and I'm going to cry so hard. I cried a lot in the BOOK, actually seeing it will be worse. I think a lot of Harry Potter fans cried in the last book. If you didn't, I congratulate you on being strong! I especially liked the Tale of the Three Brothers. It was different. When the Horcrux was open, and Ron saw Hermione and Harry, I thought Hermoine looked beautiful. Not to say she isn't anyway, but how she looked wet, shiny, silver and airbrushed(Picnik styled airbrush), I thought looked really stunning. (that sounds so inappropriate..)

Emma Watson is into fashion now. I've seen her in Burberry ads and in pictures up at a Burberry store. I think she looks good, and Burberry fits her. She wanted to be a part of Chanel, but that didn't happen. OHWELL. I like Emma Watson.

Emma Watson making it work. ;]

Oh, how the Fashion Show has grown!

At the very start, I liked Jeffrey's outfit the best in the fashion show, showing who they were as designers. I thought that the white feather dress with sparkle[or whatever] was HIDEOUS. I don't remember who's it was, but they thought theirs was better than everyone else's. I think not. I like how the fashion houses were split into Green and Blue, and not Blue and Red. Everything is Blue and Red, it was time for a change. I don't know why that stuck out to me. I don't really like either of the names for the houses, though. Nami? That sounds like they're trying to suck up to Iman. I know they're not, but that is the impression I get. Emeral Syx? There will not always be six of you, as proven today, so that is not a very smart name. Calvin was mean about it, but I agreed with him. Back to the first fashion show, when Iman came out, I was a little distracted. I got a very good look at her dress, FROM THE BACK. Don't even ask me my opinion on the front, because I don't know! I couldn't see it! It had potential to be good. Something else that has potential; the whole show. I was very skeptical that it was going to be better than last time. But, as I don't like to admit often, I was wrong. I'm definitely seeing some potential that this show is getting way better! Maybe it has something to do with Kelly being gone. Uggg, I did NOT like her. One could barely say she was a good fashion critic. Her and Isaac used to be a little snobby, then make fun of the contestants behind their backs, how professional. But now that we're down with Kelly, I think Isaac's been a little.. more Mizrahi and less Miserable. My opinions on Calvin changed throughout the show. At first I kind of liked him, then I hated it, then he was growing on me, and now I like him. But he shouldn't have put the jewels on his dress.. They kind of made it look cheap. I was on his side with his fight with Francine. I think she was being inconsiderate and bitchy. She looks like a drug-addict. I was hardly surprised when they were the bottom two, but I'm glad Calvin stayed. and I like that Iman said, "This is the FASHION show," so it means like, although his attitude sucked, it's not the Attitude Show, but your outfit sucked, and that's what the show's about. So, BUHBYE. HA, I'm glad she's gone. If she didn't know how to sew, she shouldn't have been on the show. [rhyme!] I thought that Cesar's dress was really nice, but it didn't really fit with the rest of the collection.. I don't know. But, it was a well deserved win, I guess! I think he'll make it far. But one of the models didn't take off the jacket, which would PISS ME OFF if I was the designer. I would be like, "OH NO! She did NOT just do that!" Then, I would greatly consider not hiring her again. But, I would tell her, so she didn't go around doing that to other designers. Models need to know this stuff! Don't they watch ANTM? But, I'm excited to see Dita Von Teese in an upcoming episode! I think she's so beautiful! Well, that is basically how I felt on the new season on the Fashion Show. I will definitely try to keep watching it on a regular basis, and I suggest that you people give it another chance.

Turn off the TV. Can you say Brain washing?

I cannot get over how Miu Miu has let me down on their Spring collection. And I know I said we'll continue the conversation, but I'm deciding against it. Ok? Ok. Awesome. You're all awesome.

So today I was at this really super-awesome tattoo parlor called Voluta. The owner-guy named Conan showed me this magazine called Hi-Fructose, and it's really inspiring. You should check it out. And I would recommend Voluta tattoo to anyone, if, of course, you live in the area. They're really nice people and down-to-Earth. They make me want to stop my dream of Fashion and become a tattoo artist there. But, HA, that will not happen. Maybe I'll learn how to duplicate myself.

I absolutely DESPISE new Eminem. I also hate all these kids start talking about how they're straight up Eminem fans, when they only listen to the new stuff. He got too serious and depressing.. whatever happened to "This looks like a time for me, So everybody just follow me, we need a little controversy, 'cause it feels a little empty WITHOUT ME. Nananannananannanananana" He used to be interesting, and good videos, now he just makes me want to turn the TV off and listen to Gucci Mane. And I don't like Gucci Mane. In fact, I hope you don't get the impression I like rap, because I don't,.. really. I like certain artists, but I don't get that into it. Well, actually, I just don't like a lot of the rappers that are mainstream right now.

Now, for the last thing I will say;

Check out my friend!

Now, I love Miu Miu, but..

I'm so confused with Miu Miu. I was just looking at their Spring 2011 line on Elle.com, and I'm not really liking it. Some of it is ok, but it all looks poorly put together, I think. Is it considered fashionable to look like you paid someone $10 to sew all your silk together? I surely hope not. I still want some Miu Miu bird pumps.

We'll finish this conversation later..!

Life is a waterfall, we're one in the river and one again after the fall.

I used to be like, "I HATE ABERCROMBIE AND HOLLISTER! EVERYTHING IS UGLY AND LOOKS ALIKE!" And now.. I hate to say my opinion changed, but it has. I still don't like Hollister, but I kind of like Abercrombie, it's kind of classy.. I wouldn't ever shop there that often, though. They're just a LITTLE too proud of their product.. And everything is kind of similar. BUT, I WILL say, that everything fits really well!

Something that I was looking at today. are these Montana Meth Project ads, and they are INTENSE. They make me positive that I will never once do Meth in my life. I hope anyone who sees these will be convinced, too, SO WATCH AND BE THOROUGHLY CONVINCED. My friend and I are thinking about meth addicts for Halloween, but it might not work out. considering we're going with my family friends and their family, so there will be a lot of little kids, and I don't think the adults will appreciate us. Rebel!? Not this time.

I live by this place called Broad Ripple Village, and on Saturday, they had a charity event where a whole bunch of people met at a Kroger parking lot, and dressed up as zombies, and gave canned goods. You were supposed to bring canned goods, and they would put makeup on you to look like a zombie, and spray you with blood. Then, we all walked around the area, and if you wanted, you would go to Hot Box pizza and get a slice or two, then leave. It was actually pretty fun, and some people's outfits were crazy good. I will definitely be going next year, and in my own costume.

Anyone whose seen Paranormal Activity, knows it was not the best movie out there. It wasn't that scary, and the camera work was nauseating. Today, I saw Paranormal Activity 2, and it was much much better. It was more of a prequel, though, and explains a lot. The camera work was way better because a lot of it was filmed on cameras hanging in their house, or when they used the portable camera, it wasn't that shaky. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes scary movies. I don't normally get scared in movies, but this had me covering my eyes, looking through my fingers. I'm kind of a wimp in movie theatres, though..

Let Them Eat Couture!

Alright, well I guess I forgot to mention my birthday was yesterday. And I kind of got some nice stuff!

  • Pink footies! You know, those pajamas that I'm PRETTY SURE everyone ever had when they were little. I'm going to bring them back. for real. Although, they are a little tight at the feet.
  • I got two Juicy Couture things, a charm bracelet, and a cupcake necklace. That's why the title is "let them eat couture." That's what the inside of the necklace box said, and I really liked it.
  • A hand-carved Hawaiian, shark-tooth necklace. It's really a strange thing, but was made for self defense, and trust me, it hurts. I like to rub my fingers along it.
  • An over-the-shoulder bag from my friend, Nina, whom also really loves fashion and Tavi. In fact, she's the one who showed me the Style Rookie blog. Thank you, NINA!
  • I got this pale pink, kind of sparkly, MAC lipstick. I'm not a big fan of MAC, but I really like this color. I do have to constantly apply it, to keep the color vibrant and fresh looking. But, I refuse to return a present, and none-the-less, it is a nice color.
  • From an awesome family, I got this kit for how to make sock puppets! They are family friends, and good ones at that!
  • And, like any child would, I got a ton of money. that's not too important, though.
My favorite teacher at school quit yesterday (something else I forgot to mention.) Well, she was actually my second favorite, but ohwell. I think everyone should have a teacher like this once. We watched Capitalism: A Love Story. Which, was actually my suggestion, and was also my movie. Technically, my mom's movie. She wants me to clarify that to people because for some reason she thinks I'd be embarrassed. So, the reason she quit was because she was protesting. The high schoolers are getting laptops, and us middle schoolers are not. So, she decided to host a garage sale to raise money for atleast us 8th graders to get them. She put up signs and had the announcement announcer say something about it. The announcer said nothing, and a vice principle [to clarify, we have two] took down her sign. She got upset, and had one of her class periods make signs and protest. She then proceeded to get yelled at by the principle, and get suspended. Then, she 'resigned', as we were told. THAT'SSOINTERESTING.

Speaking about school, guess what! The high schoolers also get a FASHION CLUB. But I can't be in it! I heard about it and got really upset. I've been thinking about a Fashion Club, and it's like they have telepathy, then decided not to let me do it. It feels like a personal jab, and I know it's not. I don't even know how to sew. IF I DID, though, I would never buy clothes from stores. I would be making them! I'm just so, ishuiduyfghapihdofguihspaihgpwuindapg. < that is exactly how I feel. Go ahead, look it up. It's a real word, I swear.

Something in fashion I would like to talk about, is Uggs. I think they are the ugliest thing you could put on your two feet. They cost so much and you can't even get them wet! They look poorly constructed, too. I know they're out, but I'm still seeing a lot of people wearing them. Not even when they were IN did I like them! I have to admit, they can be really comfortable. I would wear them to go play in the snow, but oops! I forgot! If I want ones that are durable, I have to pay a lot MORE. Shananigans! I'm really disappointed in Jimmy Choo for working with the shoes. His Uggs don't look good either! No Ugg can.

Let the Blogging Begin!

I guess since this is a new blog, I should begin with words about myself.

  • I love Fashion.
  • I am involved in art.
  • I read a lot.
Those are just simple ways of saying it. I plan on going to college with a major in English, and a minor in Fashion, because I want to be the Editor-in-Chief of Elle magazine. At my current school, which I will only be at until the end of this year, I am in the Visual Art program [Where, sadly, there are no design classes what-so-ever]. But, It's better than being in the Theatre program, where people only play around and they don't take the performing part seriously. The school I go to, is a mess. I'M GETTING OFF TRACK.  Everyday I bring a book to school, because I often get bored. It makes the day enjoyable.
Tavi has inspired me a lot. I think she's sooooo wonderful! Though, I hope it does not come across as me trying to be like her. I'm really not. I just think what she's done is great, and I think I will really like blogging! [So far, I do, but that doesn't say much, considering this is the first time starting on it.] I think the best thing right now, would be if I met her. I think we'd get a long so well!
So, here's the part where I try to figure this blogging thing out, so I can make my page fancy andwhatnot. I'm determined NOT to give up on this!
